Instant GR GMailer is a Google OAuth integration provided by Instant GR for its hosting customers.

This app allows Instant GR customers to connect their Gmail or Google Workspace account to their hosted website or e-shop so the site can send emails using the customer’s own mailbox.

Purpose of the app

The purpose of Instant GR GMailer is to enable hosted websites and e-shops to send operational emails through the customer’s own Google account.

These emails may include:

• Order confirmations

• Contact form notifications

• Password reset emails

• Other website or e-shop notification emails

Instant GR GMailer is available only to customers of Instant GR.

How it works

When a customer chooses to connect a Gmail or Google Workspace account, the customer is redirected to Google’s OAuth consent screen and asked to grant permission to Instant GR GMailer.

After authorization, the hosted site can use the granted permission to send emails from the connected Google account.

What access is requested

Instant GR GMailer requests access only for the functionality required to send email from the connected Gmail or Google Workspace account.

The app does not request permission to read inbox messages or mailbox contents.

The app does not collect the customer’s Google account password.

Who uses this app

This app is intended only for Instant GR customers who use Instant GR hosting services for websites, e-shops, or mail-related infrastructure and want to send site emails through Gmail or Google Workspace.

Privacy and data handling

Instant GR uses Google user data only for the purpose of enabling email sending from the connected account on behalf of the customer’s hosted site.
